Word of warning regarding QuipZilla Portable

Whatever you do, do not, I repeat, do not download & use the portable version of qupzilla browser! It is a zombie program that will eat any & all programs, [from the programs main section, or even if you install it in a folder] when it's being uninstalled, leaving you the time consuming task to have to re-install the programs it has "eaten". It can also do an insurmountable amount of damage to your browser & O.S. system. Don't make the mistake that I did with downloading & using this P.A.F. browser program; stay away from it & don't use it! [Also a warning to those of portable apps to get rid of this piece of harmful software.]

Well

First off the files are .paf.exe files IF they were downloaded from Portableapps site.

Secondly I have used it and it has still remained in my external hard drive and funny thing is that all the file are still there, have had it used since it came out.
Third since it is a portable app there is no need to uninstall simply right click and delete the folder.

Fourth perhaps you need to explain what the issue is where the file is installed and where you obtained your copy, also what AV as if you have any AV it surely would pickup any trojan or malware?

Qupzilla

Portable apps from here don't HAVE an uninstaller, you remove them by deleting the folder. Whatever you uninstalled, it wasn't from here.

lol,lol

@syndicate.01

even if you will write even more text all in capitals, we will still not believe you anything.
I am posting this here with the quipzilla from this site and it is neither destrcutive nor does it any kind of harm to any other software.

If you trashed your computer with some software from what ever strange sites, well then it is entirely your fault.

Give us some facts, not opinions.

The .paf part is simply to identify applications adhering to the Portable Application Format which John Haller (and others I am sure) have developed.

If you really wish to start accusations of this kind, then first I suggest you back it up with some facts.

What was the name of the so-called malware that was responsible. From where did you download this application. Link us to some online virus-scan which shows this application as being infected.

Showing your ignorance of how the portable application behaves regarding installation leads me to believe that such damage from some sort of malware was entirely your own fault, and from an entirely different source.

Either a portable application from a shady source, or something else entirely.

Give us something credible that is not a load of yelling and mud slinging.

If at first you do not succeed, use more sticky tape.
