USB hosting with portable apps on android

Just an idea if its possible run portable apps on a android device because there has been rumors that you can use a flashdrives with portable apps and run the apps on it, weird but if this is true I would love to use this feature. Just drop in on my micro SD card.

yes and no

yes, you can run the apps off your phone, when you use your phone as a usb drive.

However, you can't run the apps directly from the android OS.

No Apps

Almost none of the apps are available for Android, and those that are available often use completely different settings files. Android won't let you run apps unless they are installed.

It's a bit of a moot point as you're not often using someone else's Android device since yours is in your pocket.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Well at least I tried

I understand now because of PortableApps™ platform. It was ment to work with other computers that were not yours and you were able to run software off of the flashdrive. It would also be a challenge especially when you have so many android devices out there. Every android is different in its own way.
