I really need your help.
Every time I close an app without a regular exit, on next launch this message will show:
"Last exit of [appname] portable didn't restore settings. Would you try to restore local and portable settings now?"
In many cases I prefer logging off my Windows without exit softwares manually, I feel OK with that. But this message is just annoying. How to avoid it?
Short answer:
Dont crash you apps and the message wont appear.
Long answer:
The reason for that meassage is that the portable component (portableapps.com launcher) needs to clean up or move stuff around from your local computer (depending on the app). In order to do this, it need some time which it doesnt have if you close the app by shuttig windows down. You are then leaving stuff on the PC and therefore messing up its portable setting. Thats why the message appears.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Is it possible to restart the app by clicking on "OK" because it's really annoying to do restart it manually about the platform again.
As I just linked, "Yes, we would like to be able to update the PortableApps.com Launcher (aka PAL) to be able to warn you of an unsafe close and be able to click OK and re-start automatically. Unfortunately, this will require a MAJOR rewrite of PAL to accomplish this. Our volunteer developers do not currently have time to do this."
That's why the topic is locked. People ask the same questions over and over and don't bother to read the responses they were just given.
