Improvements, suggestions and wish list.

I'm trying the platform, and I was expecting substantial improvements in version 12 beta, then nothing.

If I can afford a few suggestions:

1) Adding configurations in the options menu:
 1a) StartMinimized = True
1b) Similar to "RemainVisible = True" but with the option focus on (to be able to launch multiple applications in the foreground while maintaining the pitcher until you move out of it).
1c) The list of applications that start automatically with the option to suspend them without deleting them from the list (example: dtaskmanagerportable \ dtaskmanagerportable.exe = 0)
1d) The possibility to set the start in normal window / full screen / minimized / other (type RBTray).

2) In case of a system crash or some applications, the message that has not been properly locked and requires a manual restart (possibly to reboot automatically).
2a) Option in the menu, to see whether or not, the alert above.

3) A more detailed description of the applications from the list of downloads with a link to the official site.

Thank you and good job, it seems promising and interesting. At the moment I'm unemployed. I can contribute by testing and writing suggestions.

1a) Coming soon, in the list: https://portableapps.com/node/28593

1b) This isn't what a menu is supposed to do. If you'd like to show/hide it manually, you can. But the menu loses focus as soon as you click on an app, so what you want is impossible just by monitoring focus. We could use a timer, but that would be kludgey. It's a menu. It disappears when you select something. Or, it shows as long as you want it to (you manually show/hide by clicking). Trying to guess when a user is 'done' launching apps, there's no definitive end, so no matter how we implemented it wouldn't be right.

1c) No idea what you mean here.

2 + 2a) Already addressed ad nauseum: https://portableapps.com/node/28953#comment-207031

3) The hover is too short to allow a longer description to be viewed. You'll be able to right click on an app in the menu and go to the app homepage shortly.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Let me explain, ..perhaps

1b) In the future, if possible, you may want to keep him in the foreground only until the cursor is actually over (within its limits) (.. I do not know the problems of such an implementation!).

1c) A list of selected applications to start automatically. Plus the ability to suspend them without removing them from the list.

2 +2 a) I meant (if possible) skip the check and the error message so that applications that start automatically are executed instead of being blocked. To avoid having to manually start.

3) Actually, I thought the list of applications to download (too vague to decide without trying). But already it has proposed: the short description in the pop-up would be useful (for the forgetful), perhaps with a display time longer or until the mouse movement.
