CleanMyFolder Portable 1.0 Development Test 1

Application: CleanMyFolder
Category: Utilities
Licence: Open Source (source code)
Description: (from website) Have your harddrive started to fill up?
Are your files and folder spread around without having any knowlegde over what's where?
Then this is the program for you.

CleanMyFolder scans your selected location and lists up the folders and files related to your scan.
Then you have the option to either move or delete the selected folder and files.

Download CleanMyFolder Portable 1.0 Development Test 1 [1.1MB download / 1.5MB installed]
(MD5: e562a7ee35e7db9f2bfb1cc4b3c2f4ec)

Please note: CleanMyFolder requires .NET Framework 4.0 to be installed on the PC (I am unsure if 4.0 Full is required, or if it will work on 4.0 Client). Fully updated versions of Windows 7+ should run this app without issue, but on older Windows you will need to ensure that you have .NET Framework 4.0 installed.

Release Notes:

1.0 Development Test 1 (2013-05-18): Initial release

Just to comment, this is a c#

Just to comment, this is a c# .net reliant application, it is unknown what version of .net is required though.

Damn, didn't realize

Thanks for that, didn't see anything about it on the website, and it runs fine on Win 7's default .NET setup. Will try to do some testing in an XP VM and see if I can figure what it needs.

to be honest I didn't catch

to be honest I didn't catch it until I saw the actual source code, and then I looked at the projects trove list and it said c#, as a developer I kind of like looking at source code xD

Hope you don't look too

Hope you don't look too deeply at the source for any of my apps then. You might figure out just how much of an amateur I am.

CleanMyFolder

Thanks a lot for your work on CleanMyFolder. That was simply wonderful. Really. You really put your act behind your thought as regards open-source software. Thanks a lot. I've tested it on XP, Service Pack 3, and it worked without issues. I will test it some more and if issues, let you know. But thanks a lot.

Not a problem

Glad to help.

Don't expect it to become official any time soon due to the .NET Framework requirement, but it is here to use.

I won't go out of my way to check when new versions are released, but if you leave a comment here when a new version is out I will update the package.
