Help with kaspersky root certificate.

So I installed Kaspersky AV, now it is wanting me to add exceptions for sites that auto-connect secure (Facebook, gmail). I did this, but facebook wont fully load (just some really basic html looking stuff) and the gmail chat won't load either.

How do I add the Kaspersky root certificate into portable firefox?

Root Certificate?

Why would anything want you to install a root certificate just to connect to Facebook and Gmail? The necessary certificates to work with Facebook and Gmail are already installed in Firefox. Anything attempting to get you to install an alternate may be trying to scam you.

In any event, all secure

In any event, all secure connections are now hosed, and I want to restore to the default. The AV never said anything about root certs, I just know something is altered (so that I have to add an exception just to go to facebook), and Bitdefender installed its own certs.

I just need to restore the normal certs somehow, or figure out which setting is flagging secure connection certs as untrustworthy.

Disable

I'd recommend disabling it:

Hunted around, it appears

Hunted around, it appears that both of these AVs do OpenSSL scanning, and for some reason it appears to interfere with https. Don't know how to turn it off in kaspersky, but there is an advanced setting that lets you turn it off in Bitdefender, and it restored the sites..
