Skype need admin rights

Hi,

When Skype started the first time, Windows 7's default firewall ask me about allowing Skype. But to allow it, I needed for admin password. So why that it should be like this? There is no another way to start Skype without admin rights? Pidgin, Firefox, Chrome and others use internet too, but they don't need admin rights.

The firewall question is here: http://s13.postimg.org/f1fy0c76f/image.png

If I don't allow Skype works properly (as I see). But why it needs admin rights?

Thank you

Certain Functionality

Certain functionality within Skype needs to monitor for an incoming connection. Offhand, I'm unsure which (could be video chat). The only way for an app to monitor for incoming direct connections is to give it firewall access.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Makes Sense

By default, the Firewall blocks incoming connections. It makes perfect sense for Skype to be asking for permission to monitor for incoming calls.

Thus, the Firewall dialog followed by the UAC dialog. Since you're not an Admin user, the UAC Dialog requires an Admin password.
