CCleaner allows the use of a secondary ini file to allow user-modified additions to the list of programs/locations that CCleaner cleans. This program merely downloads the author's modified winapp2.ini and puts it into the CCleaner folder.
So, for those who
there is an alternative.

I can't officially release CCleaner products for PAL as they don't want PA using their trademarks, but I do have a CCleaner online installer in my SkyDrive with custom launcher code to download that file on every launch.
I really hate to ask this but does the author of CCEnhancer have permission to modify Piriforms program?

All it does is download a file which CCleaner's own code is built to parse for extending the number of things that can be cleaned by CCleaner.
It is just an INI downloader basically, not a patcher.
was just curious as I know we have a lot of Piriform apps up here on site was not trying to cause issues just asking.

Anybody (you, me, or the author of CCEnhancer) can create a winapp2.ini by following the established format. This was set up so that you could fix an issue that was either unique to your system or deal with the left-overs from a particular program that nobody else had.
You can read about this on Piriform's website:
