I've tried everything I can to get the platform to update apps with it's updater tool. It says there are no updates available when there are, and just to be sure, I have manually set back the version of an app. It seems to be connecting to the internet successfully because it is able to browse the app directory for installing news apps, and can refill the update.ini file if I have blanked it. I've tried:
* Disabling my AV.
* Reinstalling.
* Setting back the version of an app in the appinfo.ini file
* Switching to the v12 Beta 2.
I'm on Windows 7 64 bit.
Any suggestions?

If you renamed any of the files or folders, they won't work. It needs to be a PortableApps directory with the folders FirefoxPortable etc within it.
