I am starting a little DIY guide for Mac-on-Stick right here on the forum. The purpose is to let people be able to actually use the thing instead of trying to troubleshoot it. Good idea, huh?
Long due: The guide is finally ready! See this link for details: https://portableapps.com/node/11181
Well Ok, as soon as you have something please post it. I just can't find the "1.image" in this line of the directions:
"Drag the Install 1.image onto the Mini vMac icon."
Nor can I figure out what friggin file to DL to DL any other mac OS.
I am a newb. be gental.
i have a better idea make a few versions of it that work upon downloading and unziping. and a link to that programs page for addons. i cant seem to find all the files and the help is a little vague.
I finely got something to work... wasn't easy. If your interested, the vMac.rom file is a dude. After a day of searching the hack net, found one that works, and it wasn't even in the dark....

I got system 7.5.5 to work, but I'll have to dig the link out for ya, wasn't from the apple or vMac site... not much works there.
It's a interesting project, lest I got DSL to relieve the stress... it does work.

Did you know that the entire operating system use to fit on a 5 1/4" floppy disk!
You've got OS 7.5.5 to work? Does Disc Copy work (I'm not sure I spelled it right)?
I am GMMan. Catch me on BZFlag. Signature will be updated.

Can you make a pack with all the stuff neded and ready to go?

Just need vMac.exe. Drag the dsk file onto vmac.exe and it will boot into system 7.
