Does anyone know if Nightingale is open-source? I don't know how to tell, but I read it's a heavily modified Firefox clone. But I really love that app! MP3 and browser collide.

Oh, I didn't notice they had the same base. Cool.
...I just downloaded it and their homepage is down. Is that weird? And they had a bunch of plugins too, but they're inaccessible now that the site's down. Huh. I tried looking up the original version, and that's gone altogether except for illegal sites that modify everything (and infect my computer every time I even look at the page
). Did the guy who made it shut down the site from lack of funding or something? I'm not saying we should drop it, but... what happened?
The company folded and their website is offline. Our portable package is completely clean, as always. Don't download software from random websites.
On that note, I'll probably remove the links to their homepage and put up the last know good download of the desktop software for folks looking for it.

I'm just curious. I'm no coding expert, but I was wondering if since you can update the links, you could tweak it so it can run Nightingale plugins too?

Why would you run nightingale addons in songbird? Just switch to nightingale.
