Have to leave for work trip, but now my TB on the stick stopped work.
When I try to open, it says it is already running....
I reinstalled, copied back profile from abt 1 week ago, rebooted computer, tried all obvious, but nothing.
I have to leave in abt 3hrs, pls any help?
The only time the launcher will say that is if thunderbird.exe is running elsewhere on your system. If you bring up task manager and show processes from all users, you should see it. It's probably hung. You could just reboot to ensure everything is closed.
well no idea what is wrong, I have again deleted whole folder, installed new and the pasted my profile and gpg details. Then TB took some 20min to start, in the task manger it really showed the exe running twice??
After some time one of the exe did close and from then on all seems to start up normal again.
Hope it will not leave me stuck underway, have made other cope to other stick as spare.

sems lightning is doing something bad, had to take it out for the moment, without lightning all seems to work, with lightning all is somehow confused.
I've had bad problems with Lightning + Google messing things up regularly. I had to ditch write access to my Google calendars and remove my Facebook calendar feeds entirely just to get Thunderbird running with reasonable response times. And this is a local install.
