I'm looking for a way to change the location of the autorun.inf file so that the portable apps platform can still 'read' its contents. Currently this file is in the main area of my flashdrive, but for sake of organization I'd rather it be in the portable apps folder. Is there a file I can change to alter the location of autorun.inf?

autorun.inf only works from the root. you can delete it if you'd like. it is not necessary for the platform to function.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Change it's file attribute to Hidden and you won't see it on the drive.
