I'm a tad annoyed. Updated to 2.10.8 and it shows "connecting" for Facebook chat, but it never fully connects. On the Pidgin website they say "Update: While we still absolutely recommend upgrading to 2.10.8, it has known problems logging into some XMPP servers, including Facebook Chat. We currently believe these servers are non-conforming, but we are working on a fix!" but there haven't been any updates on a fix.
Is there a way to rollback an update?
download a previous version from Sourceforge

It was supposed to be released about 20 hours ago but ran into a SourceForge mirroring bug. It cleared in the last hour, so I can finally download the official Pidgin Windows build and build Pidgin Portable based on it.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Was not a criticism on you John more of an FYI
