All of sudden Firefox starts to hang.
Plugin-container.exe also appears in processes and the firefox.exe starts to
leak memory reaching 1,000,000 K plus
Then computer hangs unless FF crashes.
Not sure what is the cause, have not been doing anything differently
At a guess, that sounds like it *might* be a misbehaving addon.
Can you test if it is a Firefox thing
eg: do a separate clean install or start in safe mode with all addons disabled and see if the memory leak still happens.
If not, then it probably is one of the addons.
One way to test that is to disable all of them and then re-enable them one-by-one and see what happens.
or, do a google search of the addon name and Firefox 28 and memory leak
The only plugins are java which gets detected automatically because portable version installed
and flash.
But, all were ask before run,
up to now whenever a site wanted to run flash it is always disabled unless I click and enable it.
Even after I disabled these plugins the problem reemerges on next launch.
The only thing I can think of is security flaw/breach.
Maxon works fine well below 100,000 k no crash no hang
