After updating Google Chrome Portable 34.0.1847.116 I was backing my files the next day and noticed a 2.9GB file named 000000000 was still hanging around. Never seen this before. Is this a bug?
I deleted it. We'll see what happens.

I haven't seen that in anything I've done. But I'd wager something else is up. Have you fully scanned things with a couple virus engines? One possibility is it may be cryptocurrency mining malware.

Ok, spent hours running virus software, but it turns out the 3GB file was a failed ISO download.
The temp file called "00000000" was located in the \GoogleChromePortable\Data\profile\Default\File System\003\t\00 folder.
I direct all downloads to my desktop. Not sure why Chrome didn't delete the temp file when it failed. But mystery solved. Thanks
