Hi,
There is a directory left in %LOCALAPPDATA%:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\2048 Portable
, with a directory called "Cache" and two files called "cookies" and "cookies-journal" inside.
I am not sure when they are generated. I am using WinXP SP3, with administrator privilege.

It's specifically the Numberwang variant causing the files to appear. I'll get a patch up soon.
