Greetings,
I have just upgraded to utorrent portable 3.4.1.30888. I am using it from a non-Administrator account, on Windows 7 64-bit.
Each time I run it, it creates the following registry entries:
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1757977833-2147541308-313565584-1000\Software\BitTorrent\uTorrent
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1757977833-2147541308-313565584-1000\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\uTorrent
It's not much of a problem for me, but after I logout from my account, and login again, it asks me to provide an Administrator password for utorrent installation.
Checking msconfig does not show that utorrent is in "Startup" list.
Can this be fixed?
Thanks,
Alex.
Adding
-=HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\uTorrent
to App\AppInfo\Launcher\uTorrentPortable.ini under [RegistryKeys] doesn't seem to help.
This registry entry is still created, and it is the one causing an install attempt after logging in.
