I have sucessfully (I believe) installed PortableApps to my USB flash device. I cannot find a way to close the App after I am done using it and before I Safely Stop the USB. The programs I installed run fine, no problems.
How do I close the PortableApps other than going into Task Manager?

click the X in the bottom right.
Nothing happens when I click that X, neither right click nor left click.
I installed the PortableApps Suite (Standard Edition) onto a portable hard drive. I have tested all of the apps in the suite and everything works fine except for the "X" on the Portable Menu. I would also like to know why I can't close the Portable Menu.
Dunno if it will fix it, but try the latest beta version.

The beta version seems to open and close faster too.
