I have tried it on shared drive disk and it's working very well.

After I restarted the computer and run MEGA Sync Portable I need to sign in again and get this error message: http://i.imgbox.com/bkHkjqIk.png
You must close mega sync portable before restarting your computer or shutdown computer but this app in development.To close mega sync portable right click on notifyicon mega icon and click exit and click yes and you can restart your computer or shutdown your computer.

What is the license of this program? I can't find it on the website, except that they say they use some open source components.
If the program itself is not open source do you have permission to redistribute it?

Since you haven't responded, I looked further into the licence of this app.
It is freeware and you cannot redistribute it without permission.
Please remove your download link unless you can prove you have permission to redistribute this software.

first things first: Thank you very much for starting this project, i love it!
But sadly the app doesnt work for me. When I start it, its stuck witch logging in, but I can't enter my password or my login-name.
Any idea?

Something has change in Mega and now the portable it´s not working anymore
As 06-05-2014 it´s working again. So it was a problem in Mega servers.

Mega Sync is freeware with a license that does not grant the right to repackage.
It's not difficult to make a portable version of Mega for one's own use.
1)Download the MegaSync installer from the Mega website.
2)Install the MegaSync application on a computer.
3) Take the MegaSync folder from the "All Users\Application Data" folder, and copy it over to your PortableApps folder.
(Another option would be to run one's own OwnCloud server instead. I BELIEVE that the client for OwnCloud is open source.)

Please don't ask for it to be reposted, the link would just have to be taken down again.
It is just reporting strange issue after restart.
