whitehat aviator

Hello portableapps.com,
I'm hoping you can grant my request for this app to be made portable.
I admit I'm not sure if this app is open source or not. All I know is it's free.

Appname: Whitehat Aviator
Platform: Windows
Version: 33.0.1750.117 (2.0)

Homepage: https://www.whitehatsec.com/aviator/

Short Description:
WhiteHat Aviator; is the most secure , most private Web browser available anywhere. By default, it provides an easy way to bank, shop, and use social networks while stopping viruses from infecting computers, preventing accounts from being hacked, and blocking advertisers from invisibly spying on every click.

Outdated

True, but it's based on an outdated version of Chromium, so it likely has security issues. That kind of kills the supposed 'secure' advantage to using it.

Probably because it was

Probably because it was originally made for mac. At least from what I have heard. But I'm really amazed by its speed, it is noticeable even when on low speed internet.
I would still love lo see a portable version of this app... would greatly appreciate it if any of you guys is willing to create one for me.

Insecure

If it's outdated, it's insecure, and we won't touch it. You should not be using this as your primary browser.

You can do exactly what this browser is doing by running Google Chrome Portable, turning off your tracking code in Chrome, switching on Do Not Track (which is actually useless and ignored by all advertisers), and installing the Disconnect extension for Chrome. That extension is the whole 'secure' bit of the browser and what causes the pages to load faster. It's nothing unique to the actual browser.

Ok... I'll take your word for it. I'll try the google chrome portable instead.

Thanks.

BTW.. just a noob question, how do you turn off the google chrome's tracking code? I'm not really familiar with it since I haven't used it as a primary browser as well.

No Longer Necessary

It seems Google stopped using it a while back. I didn't know as I prefer and use Firefox. Firefox is 100% open source and run by a non-profit, so if you're concerned about privacy, that's the way you should go. It also doesn't require you to be logged in with an email address to a central location to install extensions as Chrome does. You can get the Disconnect extension for Firefox.

I've been a fan of firefox

I've been a fan of firefox for a long time as well, it's been my primary browser. I got the disconnect extension on it too. From what you said, I'd say I'm on the right track. I guess I don't need to experiment on other browser anymore.
Thank you @Johhn T. Haller.

Yes it is, but I never

Yes it is, but I never noticed that it is outdated like what @John T. Haller said.
