Can't add other portable apps

I have followed the instructions on the web site to add other portable apps to the PortableApps.com menu. I've created a folder next to the PortableApps folder and placed the app and files in that folder. However, when I click "Refresh App Icons", nothing is added. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks.

You want it inside the PortableApps folder. Alongside FirefoxPortable, PortableApps.com (note the .com), etc. Any folder inside the PortableApps folder, the platform will scan for EXEs.

Example, & just because you can run it doesn't make it Portable.

Note that placing an app in your PortableApps.com menu does not make it inherently Portable. If the app in question is already fully Portable (this is referred to as being "Natively Portable") then it will continue to be Portable, however if it is not a Natively Portable app (most "portable" packages from other sites are not Natively Portable) it will likely leave (possibly personal) data behind on every computer it is run, and some functionality may break as you move from computer to computer.

Here is an example of a directory structure which contains the PortableApps.com Platform, Firefox Portable, and a Natively Portable App (called NativelyPortableApp for the purpose of this example) where both Firefox Portable & the Natively Portable App are visible in the PortableApps.com Platform's Menu

X:\
| Start.exe
|
\---PortableApps
    +---FirefoxPortable
    | | FirefoxPortable.exe
    | |
    | +---App
    | +---Data
    | \---Other
    |
    +---NativelyPortableApp
    | NativelyPortableApp.exe
    |
    \---PortableApps.com
        | PortableAppsPlatform.exe
        |
        +---App
        +---Data
        \---Other

Edit: Slight simplification & clarification of the example.

Just seeing this issue

I just added PostBox to my drive in exactly the way specified and it isn't showing up when I run Refresh App Icons. It is in I:\PortableApps\Postbox, exactly as it should be. I have successfully added other programs in this way with no problems at all.

Cheers

EXE

Is there a postbox.exe or similar file within I:\PortableApps\Postbox? That's what the platform is expecting and looking for. If the only EXE is buried in folders, the platform won't find it.
