Error when trying to add new Apps

hey everyone. I have a small problem. When I try to add a new portable app manually I get the following error message. I noticed it first with Spybot Search and Destroy however when I uninstalled it and tried to manually add another app I get the same error message. I was able to use the built in app installer and reinstall spybot search and destroy with out a problem. Any Ideas?

1st error states: Access violation at address 568D5404 in module 'xmllite.dll'. Read of address FFFFFFFF

2nd error states: External Exception C015000F.

Any Ideas? is there a way to rebuild portable apps platform without having to reinstall all of the apps. I have about 6gb of apps on this thumb drive.

Thank you

What Error?

What has the error? AKA, what's the title string on the error message? PA.c Platform, PA.c Installer, something else? I don't think it's the PA.c Platform as I don't think anything uses XML within it.

Title

I know, but what is in the title of the error message. Can you screenshot it? It will help me determine if it's in the menu exe or the OS.

Background: Install a new app just triggers Windows to bring up a file open box using a standard OpenDialog call. If that is failing, something may be wrong with your Windows install specifically.

What OS are you running on, btw?

Well apparently it is working now. I'm running windows 7 ult. Apparently I had updates needing my pc to restart. Once I restarted it, now it works perfectly.

Glad to Hear

Glad to hear it's working now and wasn't something more serious. You're welcome!
