I've heard that copying NPSWF32.dll to the plugins folder adds flash for firefox. But to me thats not the case. I tried that and when i access a page with flash content firefox freezes and responds significantly slow, and it forces me to terminate its process from task manager.
Firefox and flash 11.xx does that. Don't know why but version 10.3 works: http://notepad.patheticcockroach.com/2243/flash-11-for-portable-browsers...
Or you could just install portable chrome: https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/google_chrome_portable , which has flash 11.xx that works.

I dont have any of those files. Is there somewhere we can get them?
EDIT: Doesnt matter, i downloaded a zip from the second link and it seems to be workng for now..
Just got FF latest version to work with flash 11.xx in portable data folder.
backed up bookmarks, reinstalled FF, copied ALL 4 flash files to data plugin folder and disabled loading of plugins/extensions in about:config
And even videos that wouldn't load before works now.
Maybe there was a conflict, since now only Shockwave Flash 11.7.700xxx is installed, before there was also Adobe Flash ...

Yeah, there was a plugin called Adobe Flashplayer and Shockwave Player, but you get the Shockwave Player from adobe.com; guess it's the same and perhaps the screwup
it is the same for many years as adobe did buy the company producing flash long time ago.
So adobe flash = shockwave flash = macromed flash
not to be confused with shockwave player, this is by the same company, but different purpose.

Haven´t had any problems after switching to Chrome browser instead. Just export bookmarks and import them in Chrome.
Chrome portable doesn´t need any installation of flash stuff

I have all the right files installed and flash works fine on XP but I'm having all the problems detailed above on Windows7.
Interestingly with flash 9.xxx.45 it works just fine on windows 7 but many sites have stopped supporting that version.
I've also tested with version 11.xxxx upto and including the very latest, all fail to work on windows 7. (I used operat0rs' flash update script for the latest (https://portableapps.com/node/37010#comment-218556). Obviously i ran it in a VM(no offence operat0r))
I've tried this locally and from a networked drive, all with the same result.
I also don't want to use chrome but thanks for the suggestion.....
I'm out of ideas but I'm hoping someone out there has some more.
I keep seeing threads asking about Flash. This works for me. Hopefully this works for you.
Download and install the latest Flash for Plugin-based browsers on a Windows system.
https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html
Copy the following files to \FirefoxPortable\Data\plugins
32-bit
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF32_###.dll and FlashPlayerPlugin_###.exe
64-bit
C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF32_###.dll and FlashPlayerPlugin_###.exe
Ex. NPSWF32_15_0_0_152.dll and FlashPlayerPlugin_15_0_0_152.exe
Someone has figured it out here:
