after uptdate to BleachBit 1.4 the Program didn't start again.
Deleted and new Download no Changes.

Update: returned to 1.2 and every works fine

I'm getting the same error as Klaus: on startup appears the popup screen and then appear an error message sying:
Errors occurred:See the logfile
'C:\PortableApps.local\PortableApps\BleachBitPortable\App\BleachBit\BleachBit.exe.log' for details
The log file BleachBit.exe.log contains the following text:

I see a similar error happened with version 0.8.7 but I do have a StartUp folder, so I don't know if there's a workaround...

Check the base app to see if it has the same error. You can download the portable zip version. This sounds like a base app bug you'll need to contact the publisher about.

According to Bleachbit support forums, this error is due to a known 1.4 bug that seems to affect to Windows 7 x64 systems.
This bug is solved in version 1.5.1, which is already available for download at Sourceforge.
I have downloaded and tested the 1.5.1 portable version, and it works right out of the box without any noticeable problem.
Time to update!
