PicPick word wrap in Insert Text box

PicPick 4.0.2 / 4.0.1 /
In the last few PicPick versions, word wrap in the "add text" box doesn't work.
It worked in versions (like 3.3.4) before they changed the editing toolbar & put the "enter text" icon *inside* the box with other shapes (circles, rectangles).

Now, I have to enter hard returns in the text editor, so lines of text don't run past end of the box on the image.

And if you've entered a few lines, then add / delete some text, it doesn't re-adjust the wrapping in the actual text box on the image. In v3.3.4, that feature (still) works.

In later versions, after editing existing text, I have to manually edit where all hard returns were entered & then delete other blank spaces & blank lines that this process creates. Very time consuming.

AFAIK, there's no pref for word wrap. Don't find a setting for it in the config file.

Works for me...

I've just quickly tested it on the latest version 4.0.2, and older 3.3.2, using a new blank image, and it worked for me, the same way in both versions. In each case text wrapping had to be activated manually, though.

Thanks, you're correct. There

Thanks, you're correct.
There are no tooltips when hovering the formatting buttons, once text editor is opened. I wasn't sure what the formatting icon was, next to color selection.

Before posting, I had tried that button several times, on several days & images.
It never affected anything.
Now, after egg on my face, it seems to wrap (& unwrap) text.

Between different images or sessions, for line wrap, does it seem to save the last selected state?
It doesn't (on line wrap) for me.
It saves last selections for bold, italics, margin alignment, etc.

There are multiple picpick.ini files, in different folder paths. Two ini files are duplicates (files match). Dunno purpose of duplicates in different paths, but I see there are picpick.ini settings for the other formatting selections, just not the line wrap:

ToolFontStrName=Tahoma
ToolFontSize=12
ToolFontBold=1
ToolFontItalic=0
ToolFontUnderline=0
ToolFontColor=2366701

I was correct only partially

I found later that my observations applied only to tested version 4.0.2, and not to 3.3.2, so, you were actually right that the text wrap worked no more. It does not work by default like it used to it prior to version 4.0.0, with the difference that there was no toolbar button for that function in those older versions.

My mistake, while testing, was believing that after closing version 4.0.2, I had opened 3.0.2 next, when in actuality it was still opening 4.0.2. If only, was I more accustomed with this app, I should notice it by the differences in the GUI.
Now I've learned that this app needs proper exiting. Closing is not enough, since only minimizes it to the tray.

Regarding the wrap function and the last selected state not being preserved, I see the same behavior as you do. You could let the author(s) know, if you wished this to be changed.
