LO 4.4.1 - the launcher is somehow broken

supposed an instance of LO is running, it is no more possible to open a second file (.doc, .odt etc) by clicking on it, and LO claims to close the running instance before starting the file.
It had worked before.
Opening the second file from the LO-menu works as expected.

Associated

How did you open the first file? If you accidentally associated with the main libreoffice exe (soffice.exe) within LibreOffice itself for instance, that's why. If you open every file by associating it with LibreOfficePortable.exe, it'll work fine. I just checked it to be sure.

i looks, you are right - but

i looks, you are right - but it had happend. I gave it it a try with closing LO, relopening it, testing, all fine.
I start LO using startup-function in windows. that works fine. so now my guess is, that it might be related
to the "sleeping"/powersaving-function in windows. I will have a look and inform you, when it happends again.
However, thanks for taking care.

Start With Windows

If you have it starting with Windows, ensure that it's LibreOfficePortable.exe that is starting with Windows and not the LibreOffice EXE itself.
