How to remove the "portableapps.com" and logo from the bottom right hand corner of the menu? I can't give presentations at University with advertising on it - made the mistake of unwittingly doing this before and got a scolding from my lecturer.
Also, is there any way to change the taskbar icon (the grey arrow logo) - I would enjoy a slightly tidier one.
Thanks,

It's not advertising. It's just the name and the logo of the app. Just like you'll see for every app you run under Windows. Look at the titlebar of any regular app you run like FileZilla, LibreOffice, even Notepad. It has the icon/logo and then the name. Here's a FileZilla example.

Yes, I understand that but I can't have links to websites. If it was just the portable apps logo and then "portable apps" it would be a completely different thing!
That's our name and logo in the lower right. It doesn't link to our website. Our registered US trademark is "PortableApps.com" as our name. The same way Apache OpenOffice used to be OpenOffice.org. That was its full name, legally. OpenOffice was not.
