Hello, guys,
Last time (month or two) I cannot update any app on USB using PortableApps.com updater. Every attempt to update (no matter what) ends up with the following message box:

I've tried from different IPs and different providers with the same result. The only common thing for those providers is that all of them are from Israel. The words in message "the hosting server not permitting downloads from your location" fill me with misgivings. I don't believe (I don't want to believe) there is a kind of boycott or conspiracy, but if someone looks like a duck, swims like a duck, quack like a duck...

Unable to update apps
That's just there as it's one possibility. For instance, certain file hosts have blocked downloads within Iran, Cuba, etc in the past. It's usually not the case of it being a geographic block.
Have you tried running it on another PC? Since the PA.c Platform/Updater uses the Windows networking components, if they become corrupt, downloads will fail. This is a generic download message that I wrote when the components don't return any error message.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Hi, John,
Well, Israel is not Iran. Still.
Of course I've tried from different PCs. I think the problem (blocking) is of SourceForge (mirrors), not of PA. When I try to download something here, on PA, it brings me to SourceForge where default mirror is set to Consortium GARR - and that ends up nowhere with "ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED"
If I have time to change the mirror before the download starts - everything is ok. Unfortunately I cannot change the mirror inside Platform/Updater.
I pinged one of my contacts at SourceForge about this. Hopefully it'll get resolved soon.

Great, thank you!
