I'm experimenting with some theme updates. Having red for everything got a bit monotonous. I'm playing with various blues so it'll change throughout the next day or so.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
While I'm a fan of blue color tones, I think the blue and the red don't go well together. I looks kind of strange with just the links blue. Maybe some other elements more "blueish" (like the dark grey table headers) and it would possibly match better.
So long as it isn't red on red or grey on grey or blue on blue
I mentioned this when the last great change was made. My point was that red on red didn't seem sensible to me and IIRC you said words to me about design at the time
Grey on grey in the date-of-post bar [1], ditto, though I see you've made the date and time a bit bigger which is nice and may help in some recent posts where people have inadvertently replied to stuff many years old.
[1] Edit: grey-on-grey: the "(new)" on the left of the grey bar can only be seen because I know to look for it and the "#4" on the right less so but ditto
Philosophy: hidden links are the work of bad people, when did good folk start trying to hide sensible distinctions?
OK, well, I like/d the way it looked before--very easy on the eyes. I hope that [red] returns as a [user] "theme option" (to save me the trouble of having to style it).

Any issues with the clunky Drupal Forum extension are unrelated to what I'm doing at the moment. They're an entirely different ball of annoyances
