since the automatic update to 38.0.1, i can't reply or send messages ...
and other minor pb than that ! (minimiz, some caracters ...)
Do you have an idea. wait for a 38.0.2 ?? new install a fresh version??

what error messages do you get?
it is easy to test a clean install by exiting TB, renaming your TB directory and installing again to see if it is a problem with your data files

no error message! ... the send button is inactive (idem by file, send)
(by testing for this answer I see "send later" and agree to send when closing is working :-)) - cool for urgent message)
My version, was a fresh install from portableapps.com (mid-may, the 31.6.0 i think... )and all the automatic update after that from mozilla...
edit : i try with a new download and copying the profile : same pb ...

this is a pb with an extension ... SMTP control https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/thunderbird/addon/smtp-control/
