Database Manager (MySQL, Oracle, MS-SQL, DB2)

I'm a software engineer and I would appreciate having the following portable apps in your suite:

Thank you for the great work you've done on this suite!

MySQL gui tools

Another good MySQL thingy is MySQL gui tools, don't know if it's eligible though (freeware open-source etc)

Freeware is not necessarily Open source

Currently, PortableApps.com will only portable-ize applications that are BOTH Free and Open Source. It may be opened up in the future to include freeware apps, but for the time being it probably won't happen. You may be able to find someone who will make you a launcher only, but if the applications are just single executables, all you have to do is create a folder under the PortableApps folder and add the executables to that folder. Exit and restart PortableApps menu and your new applications should be listed though. You might want to check out the page below before requesting an app in the future.

This policy has since changed

It will be great to have a general Database Manager.

7 Years Old

This topic is 7 years old and we already have multiple database managers in the app directory under both open source and freeware licenses. Plus they are in the proper PortableApps.com Format provided either by the publisher or with their permission. Is there some reason you revived this dead thread?

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Have you ck'd available including beta?

more recently
SquirrelSQL Client Portable - 3.7.0.0 - Dev Test 3
https://portableapps.com/node/52461
is good to go as far as I am concerned but needs other people to test it

If I've missed your point, yell

Missed it because its listing didn't mention SQL

I've entered the website's app list and looked (ctrl+f) for SQL, but all of the matches were for SQLite.
I'll check it out, thanks!
