"Miranda didn't close down properly last time" dialog appears sometimes... I DON'T CARE!
i click on this completely useless dialog, and then it doesn't even start... WTF!
when i click on an icon to start the app.... I WANT TO START THE APP

Bottom line: Your app has been crashed (most likely by windows itself through a shutdown, or some other reason like app crash, forceful drive removal ec.)
If nothing of that applies, you need to provide some more information than just ranting. Most probably, then someone will give assistance.
