When I use the Portable App Platform in Windows 7 & Windows 10, the platform responds differently in the OS versions.
So when I use the Platform on a system like Windows Vista. the platform responds as normal with in the task bar's notifications.
But when I use the Platform on a Windows 7 or 10 system. The Platform Shows on my task bar as a window and bury the notification in the hidden icons. And I looked into the Platform settings and fond nothing that changed the settings.
(Simple terms, Win Vista has notification, Win 7 & 10 has notification and window on task bar)
This is by design as the system tray is deprecated on Windows 7 and up. That's why system tray icons are hidden by default. And why so many users have no idea how to find the platform icon when that happens. That's why the platform automatically shows in the taskbar on Windows 7, 8, and 10... where system tray icons are hidden and taskbar icons are just icons instead of larger icons and names as in older versions of Windows. If you prefer the old-style behavior of only in the system tray, you can disable the taskbar icon manually:

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
It dose not work in Windows 10, but I have not tried it windows 7 (my school computers),
HOWEVER..
Thank you for the information regarding to the problem.
(PS: is there a place in the forms that you can make suggestions)
Note that in order for this option to be saved, you need to follow the above-linked directions while the platform is not running.
