yeah it's very do-able but the problem is finding a good open source tetris game. i briefly looked before but i'll look again.
Edit: looks like the top 2 open source tetris games are tetris queen and tetris unlimited, i'll look into them.
I did Tetris Queen during like, the summer. If anyone likes it I can update and post it.
If you could do that that would be cool.

well it seems the tetris selection isn't that great like i thought. Two that i found that would run windowed are Falling Block Game and Stacker Blocks 3D. Falling Block Game looks good but has controls i don't like and aren't customizable, and Stacker Blocks 3D works good but isn't very visually appealing so I don't think there are any good ones to PAF.
idk if its open source but Tetrix is a good one. Its a modified version of the original game

blocks from hell is a dos one i picked up from somewhere, and is pretty good.
