i hope somebody can help me,i'm after a bit of software or knowledge that allows the portableapps launcher start,when windows has already started,ive tried the .inf files which can be found through google but never seem to work

depends sligtly on operating system, but microsoft did block this sort of autoplay years ago in all current windows operating systems.

The ability for a flash drive to autorun was removed with the launch of Windows 7 and removed as a patch update from Windows XP and Vista years ago to combat viruses that used it to spread. We have a tool that will allow you to set your own machine to autorun the PortableApps.com Platform when you insert your drive here: https://portableapps.com/node/13770
On other machines, just click Explore and run Start.exe.
