Use TempForPortableApps for paf.EXE install / updates (PA 13.0)

In PortableApps.com Platform 13.0 the subdirectory TempForPortableApps is no longer used for paf.EXE downloads as described in https://portableapps.com/support/platform#advanced --> Portable TEMP Directory...
There exist situations where %TEMP% does not allow to execute paf.EXE files :-(, while TempForPortableApps would.
Please reconsider to use TempForPortableApps as download dir to execute paf.EXE files or at least provide another solution for this to work in situations where %TEMP% is blocking execution. Thanks a lot Smile

No Longer?

Did it used to work that way for you? Are you still launching the platform with Start.exe? Start is where the TEMP check and change occurs.

worked with 12.x

I can confirm, it used to work with 12.x
13.0 no longer works, start.exe won't help

No Changes

There have been no changes at all to the code within Start.exe. The setting was not intended for Updater downloads, though that would be helpful as well. Let me test both scenarios here.

I can confirm that the directory is still being properly setup as TEMP and used by apps.

I just used Platform 13.0 to download and install an app. It correctly used the TempForPortableApps directory next to Start.exe on my Windows 8.1 x64 machine without issue.

So it appears to be functioning as it was at least for me.
