Google Chrome Portable 49.0.2623.87 Stable has been released. Google Chrome Portable is a web browser that runs web pages and applications quickly. The latest Beta and Dev builds are also available. It's packaged as a portable app, so you can take your browsing experience with you and it's in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Platform. It's partially open source freeware for personal and business use.

Noticed that Google Chrome Portable 49.0.2623.87 Stable installer/downloader is missing the Digital Certificates/Signatures.

The original build posted today lacked a digital signature due to an oversight on my part. I was getting the build up quickly before getting on a plane this morning. The build posted this morning with an MD5 of e84504e45d964526b062bc144446822f is the proper build.

That original build has been digitally signed and now has an MD5 sum of 78f1b5e9386364141bfe64d9da8f7ea9. It has been uploaded to SourceForge in place of the original and should mirror out over the next 20 minutes. Some users will get one or the other in that timeframe. So, some platform users will be unable to upgrade for the next 20 minutes. Just wait a few minutes and try again.

I replaced the build as the original has no technical issues wrong other than not being digitally signed. Users who have already upgraded would be wasting time and bandwidth updating to a Rev 2 with just a signature change. And setting the platform not to update users without Rev 2 would cause confusion in terms of what the current version is. Note that the 64-bit test build released alongside had a digital signature and is unaffected.

My apologies for the mix up.

Sorry for late reply. I know it is insecure but i only using Chrome v49 to watch videos. v50 and later have video decode flickering bug due to Google ruined GPU functions and i'm still stuck with old graphic driver in 2011. I filled bug report to Google but they won't listen after i went back from vacation https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=617118

My PC does not have any important files and i'm using dummy accounts on insecure PC. I can reinstall WIndows again once it is infected
