I am wanting to use the whole collection so I am wondering how big of a usb is needed? Also an 8 gig isn't big enough... Found that out the hard way after 48 hours of trying to get all the apps.

As vf2nsr mentioned, you can use a removable hard drive; it would be best because they have the most space (up to several terabytes) and are quite fast as well...
But a small question; I'm pretty sure you won't use every single one of the portable apps.....
Why do you want to download all of them??
I love PortableApps! ❤❤❤
NorkDorf asked the question. vf2nsr mentioned using a removable hard drive.
As for why? Maybe this person is a collector? Maybe they just want to have everything available installed so that they can try each one in an (optionally) organized way, deleting ones that they decide they don't want. Maybe they want to give a gift with all available PortableApps.com apps to someone. Maybe it's just idle curiosity. Maybe they have some other reason that I didn't mention.
Also, you can even install them on a local hard drive (though where's the fun in that?).
Enjoy your (tons of) apps.
Edited~

Thanks for pointing it out...

Why? Because they are free and when something is free you try to grab as much as you can. Then you can brag to your friends how much you got. Need and know how to use never enter into the equation.

If you install all 300+ apps along with all channels of said apps (Firefox Beta/Nightly, Chrome Beta/Dev, etc) it totals 17.6GB. And it's going to keep growing as we add more apps.
