XAMPP missing dll error

Hi All,

Has anybody else have had several error messages about missing dlls when they've tried to run apache for the first time?

I get the same message when I try to setup both the lite verson and the normal one.

The missing dlls are:
php_mbstring.dll
OCI.dll
aspell-15.dll
libcs.dll
DB2CLI.dll
isqlt09a.dll
CORE_RL_magick_.dll
iilibapi.dll

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Root Directory

Did you install it to the root directory of the drive using the default name of xampp (or xampplite)? If not, it may not work on every PC.

Check over at Apache Friends for more info. I haven't seen what you're encountering before.

Fixed

Thought I'd put this here in case anyone else has the same problem.

I'd previously been running IIS with php installed. I'd unistalled IIS but forgot to uninstall php. Oops.

Once the original installation of php was removed XAMPP worked.

How I solved problem

About 1 year ago I had similar problem, My PC write me an error about missing Msvcp140.dll , and I spend a lot of my time to find the solution of this problem. At last I found it, it was fixed dll tool from this website: http://fix4dll.com/msvcp140_dll
