Can non portable apps (regular Windows based software) run in PortableApps?

I'm trying to install one of my personal business software applications on PortableApps and it is failing to run. Is there a registry in Portableapps that I can access to point to a specific folder that is not being seen when I try to run the program?

I guess the bigger question is...Can non portable apps (regular Windows based software) run in PortableApps?

I have a proprietary application that I'm trying to get to work with your product.
I use Ceedo Enterprise, which is a USB drive based virtual computer program that allows me to take my computer with me on the go on a USB drive. Unfortunately, it will not not work in a Win10 computer. Apparently Ceedo isn't compatible with any computer that runs Win10.
Thus I'm trying to find an alternative program. I came across your program and loaded a few of your portable apps and it worked well so I loaded my business database software but it will not run properly.
I read your article on "Adding Other Apps to the PortableApps.com Menu" but that didn't make any sense.

How do I get my business software program to work on your platform so that I can use it while out of town?

not inside

just first, portable apps do in fact not run inside something, they run just on windows as other programs. This is not a virtual machine or similar.
To make programs portable, sometimes lot of steps is needed.

There are programs running on itself, kind of portable already, they can be added to the menu just following the instruction you found already.

It depends on the program and what resources it needs in windows, if it needs to write some special things to registry or does it need to deposit some of the data on the local drive etc.

So basically you have to make the software itself to run portably first.
Then you can add it simply to the platform if you wish.
To run portable programs, the platform is just kind of organizing tool, but is not even essential for running the programs, they work also without it.
