Wile trying to update Iron to latest release using updater. I get error to close all instances of Iro and try again.
I do not have Iron running on machine, although I am running Windows 10 with two windows apps onecaled EasyMail for Gmail and other is the Google App.
I use these to poll various work accounts. Is this why Iron is stating there is another instance running?
I have them run at startup as live tiles and are also in quick launch on task bar.
Iron is actually chrome.exe. You must closed Chrome, Iron, etc in order to update.

For some reason when I went to task manager there was a process of Iron Portable there, yet had not opened that browser today? O well looks resolved as I ended it in task manager and downloaded from the page and installed thanks John.
Not sur ehow it was in processes but not complaining.

The installer checks to ensure the app you're installing isn't running. chrome.exe is running on your system. Thus, the Iron Portable installer thinks Iron is running. Iron and Chrome both use chrome.exe. You must close all instances of Iron and Chrome, local and portable, to install either Chrome Portable or Iron Portable.

I had no known instances of Chrome or Iron running. I found a process for Iron Portable running in the task manager yet I had not opened that browser today. I do not have any variant of Chrome or Iron installed locally
