I would like to see this portable app in the download manager:

It is ready to be use with PA: "Portable software. Save to USB-stick or any folder you have write-access to (User-rights)"
In my view it is much more sophisticated then the already available "Checksum Control".

They're rather different. Checksum control is made to be used with a whole directory of files. The one you linked only works on a single file at a time.

Is there already an other equivalent App like "File Checksum Tool" in PA to check the sum of files with MD5, SHA-1, HAVAL, MD2, SHA-256, SHA-384, SHA-512 hash values?
By the way, is there anywhere an tool to search this forums? I didn't find ... To look all the pages for already discussed topics is quite annoying
The search in the upper right searches the whole site. You can confine it to the forums after you've searched by clicking Advanced Search and selecting "Forum Topics".

It doesn't do HAVAL or MD2, but I've never seen anything that uses those, so they're pretty niche.

Ah, now I found the search
I always was locking for a search box/button in the Forum (white) part of the page near the "New topic" button at top and bottom, as I know from other forums. I never looked up there 8)
Can you tell me how the results of the search are ordered? It looks like totally mixed up. Is there a order option to order them e.g. from new posts to old posts?
They are ordered by Drupal (our CMS) according to relevance. It takes into account keywords, number of comments, and age of the post. Unfortunately, there is no way to select a date range at present. There are some add-on modules for Drupal that allow it but I had issues getting them to work properly when last I researched them.
