Custom app paths

Hi there!!!

I have a question. I've added various custom portable programs to my PortableApps Menu (i. e., native portable software, not in PortableApps.com format). Now I wont to change the name of the main executable, or the name of the folder, but I can't find the file that contains such information. I've inspected the PortableAppsMenu.ini file, but it doesn't contain the information I'm searching for.

So, where are stored the paths of the custom added apps?

Thanks in advance,
Alpha!

Deeper Sub-directory?

Are you asking because you're using some apps that don't have their main EXE within the base sub-directory so it's automatically picked up by the platform?

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Thank you for answering John.

Thank you for answering John. I've resolved anyway. No, my custom apps are all in the base directory: in fact the platform can detect them. I've resolved simply renaming the exe in its folder and the references in the ini file. I was in doubt because in the ini there isn't a direct reference to the path, only to hide, rename, etc. Anyway, changing the name of the exe solved the problem.

Real example: I had CCleaner.exe in PortableApps\CCleaner\CCleaner.exe. I wanted to change the target to CCleaner64.exe (64 bit version), so I simply renamed the exe and updated the references in the ini. Problem soved! Smile
