WinSCP watcher process

Hello!
I found a problem after PortableApps.com updater is finished updating of winscp. There was no demand to close running winscp. Because winscp's watcher (WinSCPPortable.exe) is stopping after starting main program (winscp.exe). This leads to losing some settings of winscp (bookmarks).
I made fresh install of winscp portable - WinSCPPortable.exe exits without any reasons.
Please fix it

Manually Close

The platform will not warn you to close the majority of apps you update. It's the user's responsibility to close running apps before running the updater. That's why it's best to do it at platform start.

Where are your bookmarks kept that they aren't preserved on upgrades?

I understood. My bookmarks

I understood. My bookmarks was not lose. Winscp just changed format of bookmarks in winscp.ini:
before: [Configuration\Bookmarks\Local\user@host]
now: [Configuration\Bookmarks\Local\user@host:port]
So i just need to rename old bookmarks

Concerning the closing before update - this is not obvious. I think it's better to warn user before starting.

Better To

Of course it would be better to warn the user. I'm just pointing out that at present, the platform has no checks for anything like that and it's left up to the individual installers. Unfortunately, the installer's automated check only handles the main launcher. So, for apps like WinSCP that the launcher closes, the installer has no idea it is running. We won't be manually defining how all individual apps run and what processes to check for (that would be a nightmare to maintain) but will have the platform check running processes by path at some point in the future.
