Hi! I have created a portable edition of Scratch 2. To use it to its best ability, you need the PortableApps.com software on your flash drive. It comes as version 5.4.1, but if there is an update a box will appear upon opening.
Read along for instructions on how to install.
To install it, follow these steps. There are also links to images to help.
1) Download the executable file from the link below. http://prntscr.com/dkyuwk
2) Open it. http://prntscr.com/dkyvdt
3) Browse to the "PortableApps" folder on your flash drive in the software. http://prntscr.com/dkyvx2
4) Then click "Extract" and wait for it to close. It may take a long time depending on your flash drive! http://prntscr.com/dkyydb
5) If it is open, close the PortableApps.com software. Then open it up again. Otherwise, just open as normal. http://prntscr.com/dkyzq6
6) Go to the "Development" category. You should see "Scratch 2". http://prntscr.com/dkz0bt
7) Open it and enjoy! http://prntscr.com/dkz2px

If required, tell me to take down this forum topic (but you need proof that you own most/all things in my portable package) and I will straight away.
Any questions? If so, please reply to this topic.
So... worth mentioning that this is not the proper PAF format. You might want to look at the Development section to see what I'm talking about. First and foremost you should use the PAF installer to package your app and not (presumably) a RAR or 7z self-extracting archive. It's safer and much better form.
Second, please reformat your post to follow the Development Test layout. This makes it easier for people to understand what the app is, where it comes from, and if it's actually allowed to be packaged in the first place.
Knowing very little about the app, I can't speak to if it's working well or properly, but if you follow those two things, you might get more hits and more testing. Happy packaging!
I have just been searching for a portable version of scratch.
Michael
Actually, it isn't in PortableApps.com format, so this isn't actually portable
