Features

ScreenshotFileVoyager is a freeware Orthodox file manager (OFM) for Microsoft Windows. OFM’s are file managers using two panels of disks browsers. This dual pane layout makes very easy the transfer operations of files or folders between sources and destinations. FileVoyager contains a large collection of tools and functionality. Browse disks, folders (real or virtual), shares, archives and FTP/FTPS in one unified way. Browsing in various display modes (like report or thumbnail modes). Usual file operations (rename, copy, move, link, delete, recycle) in the containers listed above and even between them. Pack and unpack ZIP, 7Zip, GZip, BZip2, XZ, Tar and WIM formats (FileVoyager wraps 7-zip). Unpack ARJ, CAB, XAR, Z, RAR, LZH, LZMA, ISO, WIM and many others (FileVoyager wraps 7-zip). Play virtually any Audio or Video formats (FileVoyager relies at once on installed codecs, on WMP and on VLC). Compare files or folders. Synchronize folders. Quick preview for hundreds of file types including videos, audio files, ebooks, and more. Syntax highlighting for most source code. Support many character encodings (SBCS including various ANSI implementations, UTF-8, UTF-16, EBCDIC). Display in flat or hexadecimal for any format. And lots more.

Why Win10 Defender refuses to install this app? It says "Uknown publisher" -- nevertheless it gives a "Run anyway" button, so the issue is not very serious...

We only digitally sign open source installers except for live installers where we control everything in the package (example: Google Chrome) or very specific widespread freeware from major publisher where we have a policy to do so (example: Opera). Other freeware is never signed with our digital signature (example: Balabolka, AIMP, etc). Some publishers package their own freeware apps and digitally sign it themselves (example: HWiNFO).

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

1. Orthodox: 2 panes like Norton, Total, etc. etc Commanders - so far, so good.
2. Borrows from Office's ribbon menu -- and Office's sluggishness
Ribbon menu is a genetic dead end, it eats up way many pixel rows from already few caused by the odd 16:10 (16:9) screen ratio.
I guess sluggishness comes from the not top notch program library of the dev. environment.
Still it worth a try as a multiple format file previewer. Maybe others fall in love. I deleted.

You can disable the ribbon in Manage - Preferences - General - Use Classic UI instead of Ribbon UI.
