You can report the error to AVAST. That specific error in AVAST means "generic malware" and is often wrong. You'll need to either wait for them to fix the bug in their current definitions or make an exception for the app to use it now.

John...would it carry more weight if you were to communicate to avast? You have to be far more credible than I am (g).
I reported it to AVAST. Sometimes it helps to have multiple reports from various users/locations. Though this depends on the specific antivirus company. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
