Does anybody else see a potential benefit in maybe having a configurable option to allow Apps Menu-controlled installations to automatically delete the .paf.exe file after installation is completed? I find myself going back to do this invariably, as my flash drive is only 1gb and space is always at a premium given the amount of apps in my build...
Just curious if others see it this way too...
I usually download them to the desktop (since that's Firefox' default download location) and then delete em from there when I'm done with em.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Thanks for the fast reply.
Well regardless of the specific location, it seems pretty easy to implement as an option from a layman's perspective--the menu would already know where to look for the paf.exe come deletion time because the user just pointed to it. It just seems like the clutter's something that everyone puts up with when installing small utilities, etc., but might appreciate not having to deal with manually.
I guess it's just from my hatred of having to clean any sort of mess after I'm done I detest looking back at my desktop and seeing install files for flashplayer, etc. all over the place because I was forced to "save as" and not just "run". I'm admittedly nowhere near as religious about cleanup as many others may be.

...there is a way.
The OpenDownload extension used to work really well, as it allows a "Run" dialog for executables.
However, it doesn't work with FF2.
I personally download everything into a downloads folder then periodically clear it out (or neglect to ).
