It will take a long time. If you're using a slow external drive, it will take a VERY long time. It's unzipping a 256MB file from the downloaded JDK installer to your device. Then unzipping 1,478 files totaling 143MB from that file on your device to your device. I do not recommend using this on a flash drive.

I thought this is the update to j-portable
started it, after 5hrs still at the same point at abt 90%, ok kill it and delete the folder

jPortable is an implementation of Java, whereas jdkPortable is an implementation of the Java Development Kit.
